1) a stream of mixed synthetic and natural textures, this like that a wind envelops the entire song. I like this mood of a pleasant dream where everything is painted in purple-blue tones and branches of trees, drops of water, leaves, flowers and a lot of sunlight flash running before my eyes.
2) this looped repetitive slightly strange melody reminded me of the Oneothrix Point Never's style :). There is no clearly defined mood here, but I like how by the end everything smoothly dissolves into natural noise.
3) maybe the best song of the whole album.. These thin layers of pads contain a lot of sun, when you hear them you involuntarily think about your best moments of life, it inspires and reminds me why I am here in this world. Drops of pluck melodies envelop the song, complementing the atmosphere with their pleasant sound. These, I guess, processed bird voices are probably screaming a little desperately in the background, this adds a little sadness to the composition. Wonderful work, it really took a certain place in my heart.
4) I couldn't hear anything catchy in this song, although I wouldn't say it's bad. It's just that maybe you put more emphasis on the sound here than on the landscape that the song creates. Good experiment, nothing else to say.
5) A storm of grasses, clouds, summer air, birds and trees... In the best traditions of a pleasant summer journey in your mind. Wonderful
6)It would be nice if these pad melodies at the beginning was in the the whole song , they create an amazingly smooth and a little strangely pleasant atmosphere.. The pianos are still not so bad, but I personally do not admire it enough. However, very sunny and nice song.
7)late evening, when daylight and solar heat continue to emanate from the earth. The scent of grass and flowers fills the air. At the background of a dark blue sky and slightly red clouds, mighty branches of trees sway, and you just want to doze off under one of them......
8) recurring alarm. The sun has gone behind the clouds. The air turned orange. The wind carries dust, fragments of leaves. A rain storm is coming....
9) Warm evening on the field... calmness and silence. even agressive saw bass line sounds soothing in here.
10) Very nice song. The pleasant sound of the sea and beating stones. The pink glow comes from the water. You seem to be slowly flying over the expanse of the sea towards the clouds.
11) The middle is really great. Pleasant memories, again a lot of sun, green leaves, warmth. I would love to live forever in this world created by this song .... Maybe somewhere out there, in another life, everything will be just like that.........
12) Quiet little rain in the evening thicket of the forest. It becomes dark, the rain gradually stops, the earth glows with a purple glow. Beautiful dream.

The previous albums contain more detailed landscapes, they were a more complete picture. Looking at them, this release is not as good, but still beautiful on its own. Perhaps you have lost your way a little and are looking for a new sound, experimenting a lot. This is fine. It's totally unfair that your works is so underrated, it could inspire so many people. Maybe you should contact the labels? Your music always holds a special place in my soul and gives a lot of positive emotions. Thank you...
i Love you.

Funny. Everyone else who gave me feedback on this album told me it was by far my best work. I suppose everyone has their own standards for what ideal music sounds like, and admittedly this album strays a fair amount from the sort of work I've historically done. I will say at the least that I put more work into composition and mastering for this release than anything I've done previously, so I hope you give it more chances. Perhaps it will grow on you.

I suppose I relate to the thought that certain artists I've followed had a style that I absolutely adored, but then their later work strayed too far from the original style for my liking (good examples for me include Yes and Pink Floyd, as I much prefer their 70s work than the stuff they did in later decades for the most part). If you have the wherewithal, the best solution is to make your own music. Eventually, with enough time and patience, you will create your own favorite music. This is what I have always followed with my own musical history, and it seems to demonstrate how I have changed over time, if nothing else.

Thank you for your thoughts. Even if you still found this album to be less than what you'd hoped for in the end, I hope you stick around for Volume Three, and subsequent releases. This is all building towards something, after all.

pure art.... standing near the forest during little rain. the sun starting shine through the clouds and everything starts to glow with a solid yellow color .. you fall into the wet grass and cry softly, thanking God for such wonderful moments

1. Sounds quite interesting, especially towards the end, when the melody becomes more expressive and acquires notes that give an atmosphere of calm and tranquility.

2. the sounds of birds are interrupted unexpectedly and it sounds alarming as if something bad has happened. Throughout the whole song there is a feeling of some mystery and enigma, and also there is a feeling as if you are walking in a frosty winter forest, bound by ice and snow.

3. I love this simple but very beautiful guitar melody, as well as the warm soundscape and pad melody that surrounds it. It is very relaxing and makes you think good and pleasant.

4. Again, a very pleasant and at the same time simple guitar, which, as it were, dissolves into the surrounding sounds towards the end, sounds incredibly beautiful.

5. Excellent sounds of the surrounding nature and a strange melody, but it does not make the song bad at all, on the contrary, it gives a feeling of mystery, and some unknown alien world.

6. Simply very wonderful and cool ambient. (in the full version of the track, incredibly beautiful guitars and pad melodies sound here)

7. one of the best tracks on the album, in my opinion. An incredible atmosphere of tranquility and mystery, as if you are walking on a summer night along the edge of the forest in absolute darkness under the dull light of the moon and listening to all these sounds that surround you. It really touches my soul very much. It has those feelings that cannot be expressed in words. It looks more like a landscape made with sound.

8. Just incredibly beautiful ambient, once again amazed at your talent for creating amazing and relaxing soundscapes.

9. A very pleasant song that creates the atmosphere of a forest thicket on a sunny summer day. What else can you say about this? I just feel delight and absolute flight of the soul.

10. Another great piece ... My favorite of the whole album. How many different emotions this evokes in me. There is both calmness and sadness, joy and anxiety. I imagine a picture of a tower standing on a hill on some other planet, transmitting signals high into the sky. It's very beautiful, to be honest I sometimes on the verge of crying when I listen to this.

11. There are some very interesting experiments with sound here. The melody of the sounds of crickets (as I understand it) develops very smoothly throughout the entire track and towards the end it becomes more complex and beautiful, like all the other surrounding sounds. The last three minutes sound like a separate song, with its own gloomy sound, and then sounds appear as if a large crowd of people are running past and it was very unexpected then to hear the bleating of sheeps, all this gives the stove some kind of alarming and gloomy atmosphere.

12. Quite minimalist work both in structure and development, I don't know what to say about him, just really beautiful ambient.

13. Also minimalistic work and quiet, but very beautiful in sound, the sounds of water at the end are very pleasant for ears

Summarizing, I would like to note that I am very glad that you have returned and continue to create and inspire me with your creativity. Overall, the album turned out to be very beautiful. I like the natural motives that prevail here, as well as the emotions and feelings that these songs evoke. Thanks for the great album, I look forward to your next releases)

The-Cupbearer responds:

From the looks of things, it seems you picked up on the general vibe that I was going for with this album. I'm glad you are getting something out of the work. In particular, I am noting how a lot of people seem to like Track 10 "The Anoxic Lamp Ignites on Honeymede Hill". That was a bit of a surprise to me how many people resonated with that particular song.

Since I've returned to school, it's hard to say how quickly I can get the next album out, but I'll post progress updates here on my Newgrounds account whenever it seems appropriate to do so.
